The
“Bear’s Den” is our most spacious and luxurious vacation renal / lodge with panorama
views, high on the bluff overlooking the Homer Spit, Kachemak Bay and Mt.
Augustine volcano. Easy access right off Sterling Highway and walking distance
to town. Perfect for an entire family, several couples or just friends that want
to stay under one roof.
Alaska Adventure Cabins is now a perfect destination for groups, corporate
retreats, and special events. : Reserve all five of our accommodations for up to
35 people and hold your meeting, event or retreat at the Bear’s Den. The main
level is over 1,000 square feet of area that can be used as a meeting space.
Arrangements can be made for catered events or choose the “do-it-yourself”
option.
Accommodation Specifics
Décor includes an upscale Alaskan lodge feel with leather sectional, hand
carved mantel over the fireplace, and local artisans artwork throughout. The
lower level of the Bear’s Den boasts of 2 private bedrooms each with a full
bath, a great room for relaxing or board games; the main level includes a large
kitchen with bar seating, dining room, living room with sleeper sofa, fireplace,
spacious loft bedroom with a panorama view, full bathroom, a large deck and
patio with BBQ grill. The Bear's Den is wonderful as a vacation rental or for a corporate retreat or wedding.
